Cushman has been a big part of my life. I have made a lot of friends and have learned so much in and out of the classroom. My favorite thing about Cushman has been the great trips we have taken, like when I went to Peru. The teachers are excellent, very kind, smart and awesome. Cushman is an amazing school, and I will miss it very much. My favorite Cushman memory was when I delivered my 8th grade graduation speech about Industry. High Honor Roll, NHS, SAMx Finalist, Silver Knight nominee, Posse semi-finalist I would like to be remembered as a very kind and hard-working student who persevered and earned high honor roll grades. SAM Project
My SAM project is improving public transportation and reducing our carbon footprint. I focused on expanding the Metro-Rail to give residents another form of efficient public transportation. I have contacted local elected officials and directors of transportation to share my ideas. I have also gained the support of my classmates, teachers and friends who signed my petition to expand the Miami Metro-Rail. Improving public transportation will reduce our carbon footprint as well as road rage, which has increased. I hope to continue with this initiative when I go to college.
