Zachary Schock
I have been going to Cushman for five years now and it has been a wild and fun ride. I came to this school in the 8th grade and ever since I have had the time of my life here. I have made so many friends and have had so much fun while learning along the way. One favorite memory here at Cushman was in the 9th and 10th grade when my friends and I would ride around on the rolling chairs until a teacher would get frustrated and make us stop. SAM Project
My S.A.M. project has been focused on tackling the red tide problem here in Miami. I have also helped my friends with many beach clean-ups that are also related to improving the marine environment, especially along Biscayne Bay. It’s been fun and productive work through the years, but COVID protocols made it difficult for all of us to do everything we had planned. We still learned valuable lessons and ways to positively impact the community.
